Suzanne Wood

Suzanne has been working in education since 2002.  Prior to that she enjoyed a rich and varied career in business - working in event organising and sales and marketing.  ELT has provided a vocation which has fitted in perfectly with the demands of a young family and now that her family have grown up, Suzanne has set herself on a path of professional development.  Currently enrolled on an MA programme in ELT, her subject specialism is ICT and Multimedia.

"I would describe myself as a bit of a technophobe and whilst I believe I am open-minded, my attitude towards the use of technology in the classroom is imbued with scepticism.  However,  I can see that this is a severe disadvantage in today's digital world, so I am embarking on a journey to discover what is out there, how I can use it to future-proof my career and, more importantly, how I can incorporate modern technology into my classroom in a way to add value to the teaching and learning experience."
